Metal Freestanding Functional Paintings

In 2000, after 2 months of research, Sheila developed a totally, unconventional art form. In searching the internet no other artist does exactly the same type of art piece.

She has created a functional fine art painting on a metal surface. These pieces can fit interior and exterior spaces. It is a painting and a sculpture in one. Viewed as a painting on 1 side or both. Ordinarily we think of paintings hung on the wall, which these can do, as well, but the outstanding feature is that it can be completely freestanding in an exterior or interior space, including withing a water feature. It is framed in a custom wrought iron design to fit the subject or environment where it will be placed.

Unconventional Placement: Room dividers, on patios, in gardens, in the middle of a water feature, block unsightly areas, splash guards, in entry areas of homes, offices, restaurants, hair salons, medical centers, etc.

Sealed with a UV Protectant: Pieces have been outside, in Phoenix, without change for over 3 years.

Portability: These paintings are easily moved or even reinstalled to another location. It can stand alone, divide a space or be hung on a wall. Creatively it could be used in a back splash area, wet bar, wine bar or barbecue area.

Custom Wrought Iron: Each piece is framed to fit the paintng. The wrought iron can be used as a trellis so the art truly becomes part of your garden area.
